Default optima mid 48dp gearing

does anyone have a 48dp gear chart for the optima mid. need suggestions for running 10.5 brushless in it.cheers

Well internal ratio of the Mid is 2.6:1 so use the same gearing as a B4 as a starting point.
It would depend on what 48dp gears you are using though, the kit 0.6mod spur is 75T.

i intend to fit an 81t 48dp spur as i have loads of 48dp pinions.

81T 48dp should fit, all you'll need is an adaptor to locate it on the 4mm diameter layshaft.

i guess you are right aboput the 48dp. i tried putting in a team atlas 23T standard 48p pinion which i use in my kawada touring car with no problems, but it made a terrible noise in my optima mid. once i change to a 20T tamiya pinion, my optima mid was silent again.
