How many other 10th dirt tracks are there? I always assumed this was the only one in the UK?

The Proline holeshots were great tyres at the PDA,and they didnt wear out too quick either so easy on the £pocket.
You could do at least a couple of meets with the same tyres easily. Ive no idea of what the control tyre will be at RHR but i,m sure some racers who havent tried dirt before will be suprised at how long they will last.

Obviously im not contracted to run them on astro but for dirt tracks im asked to run them, particulary in 1/8th at the moment. They have just released some tyres for 1/10th electric and would be suspected to run them if i was to race dirt meetings but i see what your saying about expenses and things like that. Will just explain to them that its control tyre event am sure they'll understand, just thought with a particular 1/10th dirt track coming about it would be the perfect oppurtunity to promote there new products
Louise tyres found here for those who havent heard of them. http://www.louiserc.com/

Kyosho soft microblocks were the weapon of choice at Aire Valley if I remember correctly (at least when they used to oil the surface), when they stopped treating the surface it was anyone's guess! I used to like Proline M2 Stubby's on my RC10 Team/Worlds

I can remember the lengths the guys used to go to with the sawdust when it rained and the water congealed with the oil |

Can't believe people are all getting caught up worrying about what tyres will work, what will the control tyre be etc....
THERE'S A PROPER OUTDOOR DIRT TRACK IN THE UK!!!!!!!!!!! That's all you need to be concerned with, something that has been lacking for about 20 years I'd say, abslolutely fantastic job done by James and his team, this alone makes me wish I was still racing!!! This type of track is exactly what Buggy racing was designed for, you're all so so lucky to have such a venue and I can only just begin to imagine how much planning, time and money the guys have spent to bring this together for you all. Hats off to you all, looks awesome!!!!!!!

Aire valley used to cost a fortune in tyres!! Stubbies, step pins and losi golds/silvers. I think Gordon Moore or Steve Kemp sorted out a loads at knock down prices in the end shortly before the club folded for good, had loads of them kicking about in my boxes for years after that!!!!!!
