Schumacher XLS PROCAT short driveshafts
Hello, I'm looking for a set of short driveshafts (male and female) for my Procat for Sunday! Preferably new and nice and smooth (sometimes they are jammed up even out the packet) It's got to be posted 1st class Thursday to be sure to get here for the weekend. Thank you.

I have one driveshaft that is unusable because the ribs are wider and doesn't slide easily at all. I wonder is this from another model (i.e. not 1/10 electric) or an old mold variation? You can see the thicker rails clearly here...

Traxxas Slash drive shafts work like a charm on old Cats. Cut them to length and go!

Wow, I did not know that! I've just found some Schumacher ones from someone but it's good to know.
Do you use a hacksaw or Dremel? Are those UJs a good fit with the Schumacher outdrives and hubs?

I'd be inclined to try them with a hex and see how they fit I bet there not for off then you've got another choice of wheels

These ones look like they are already the right length...

You just snap the shafts in with the Traxxas metal parts. Easy as 1-2-3.
Edit: as for cutting them, I used a dremel. It's very easy. |

I just purchased a Schuey parts lot with a number of driveshafts. When it arrives I'll check but I'm sure I'll have what you need. Should know next week.
