Default New Cougar 2 Works bits !!!!!!!!!!

Today I have had a few little bits come for the Cougar. These are new JCracing wheels Black and White dish and a new Cougar 2 body and wing set by steve_haskins on here. The first one was a excellent fit and quality and with the paint job really looked the part.

The paint scheme will be almost the same as the Team but with little changes.

Default Almost the finish !!!!!!!!!!!

The Cougar has now got the original turnbuckles fitted after being re-polished back to there standard colour/shine, also fitted are the original turnbuckle ends (black). The shocks are now fitted with the original springs and complete shocks are original that came with the cougar. The stand offs, balls and washers are all original.

The shock towers fitted are both original. The front was a little rough on the edges, so I have lightly rubbed down the edges to bring back a nice smooth edge.

I have the full original spring kit but went with full yellows all round.

The battery holder is new, but the battery strap is original.

Oh and of course new purple nuts.............

Ok so on to the gear cover and I must say its a perfect fit. The slipper assembly is the original with the original spur gear 89t new screws and of course the LAST PURPLE NUT !!!!!!!!!!

I have decided not to paint the body, wing and nose on the Works but to leave them clear.

Awesome work! The Cougar 2 Works was what tempted me back into racing in '94 and I raced it in '94/'95, then in 2000-ish and again in 2007 untill one of the rear wishbones finally wore through. Great to see the brand new chassis you have there with no scratch marks haha. Was possibly my favorite car i've ever owned and handles very similarly to a B4 imo.
