Default Android Tablet & Youtube!

Anyone up to speed on Androids?

Been given one and its a bit iffy about YouTube vids, it WILL play them on a site that links to the original on YouTube, but it flat refuses to play on YouTube site.

I had a look at drivers etc but Im clueless about this sort of thing, so anyone any ideas?

Install the youtube app over google play and your problem should be sorted.

I tried that on the tablet, but keeps trying to send it to my phone?
Unless you know some way to change that?

You should (if on a PC) have a drop down with a list of devices you can send it to.
If you try and install from your tablet, it should install to your tablet automatically.
Unless you haven't set it up and registered it where you need to. By the sounds of it, this might be your problem!
I can install stuff from here (work PC) to my tablet (at home) or either phone (one in a box somewhere, one in my pocket) just by selecting the right option.

Cheers Matt....took the cowards way out and dropped it off at the local computer repair shop, at least the guy there doesnt rip people off, I'll get it back tomorrow working fine.

Strange thing was it would play the video on Oople front page, but if I clicked though to YouTube then all bets were off!

Update: Local shops puzzled now too, left it with him for while, give him something to play with on Boxing day wont it? LOL
