Default Servo issues

Im running a Savox 1258 in my Cougar and from time to time i feel like the steering just cuts?? Somebody i was talking to the other day said Savox use a lot of current and can do this, im not sure? Does anybody have any ideas?

I've experienced similar problems with Savox servo's in my TLR 22, it ended up being the internal gears that are pressed together (think they were gold and silver in colour) were slipping a when load was applied.


May also be worth while trying a capacitor in the receiver and checking that the servo horn is tight and if it's plastic that it is not cracked.
