Default DESC210 Setups

Hi

As per subject, are there any? There's none on durango website and I can't find any.

Looking for a carpet setup and an astro setup is anyone's got one.

Working on it .. first night on carpet on the wrong tyres . Truck was a lot faster than the rear motored competition. Especially over the jumps and tighter sections . Should have some more appropriate boots on it for this week so I can work on setup more . soon as i get something that works well ill get it posted up

race night 2 with the desc210... truck was awesome. could push the truck hard with no grip roll.
ive sent the set up off to Adam so should be on site at some point . but ive hosted it here until then...

me and Nathan wasn't far off the same set-up in the end . he had gear diff in and a diff piston oil set up, but he also had less steering and grip roll.
had bit of on power under-steer. Nathan did try knocking toe in on rear down to 2 from 2.5 . was quicker but lost time over slippery sections .
he also tried multi-bytes all round but scrubbed speed off in the bends.

I really struggled with low speed steering @ A1, modifying the front wishbones helped some (thanks for the tip wes), but still could have done with more steering in the tight stuff.

Truck is much better at my home track (Coventry) but could still do with more steering in hairpins.

Any ideas would be appreciated, car is kit setup right now, but with 2.5 degrees rear toe and 550cst oil in the shocks and shortest wheelbase. Ride height set @ 25mm....

What modification are you doing to front wishbones?

Thanks

If you look at the front of your front wishbones, you'll see a mark where the wheel has been rubbing when on full lock and the suspension is compressed. This has the effect of taking lock off the car!

Either cut that section of the wishbone out or use a Dremel to add clearance.
