Nitro shell lining - what to use?
Hi everyone. I have a nice new shell that I have cut and use a dremel to good effect to get a nice fit
But.... What type of tape do people use for a nitro car. Can any tape be used? Photo of an old shell I have and it appears it has some type of tin tape on the inside

I saw a video recently where Adam Drake used shoe goo on the edges and main contact points of his shell. I've used some myself and it works great. It's thick out of the tube, but you can spread it on, and it will dry smooth. Once dry it's very tough but also flexible. I used to use duck tape, but will be using shoe goo from now on

OK. I want to do it today. So I think I have duct tape. So I will give it a go
Thanks
