Default mr4 bx

does anyone know what the gearing should be on the bx, been using a 84 17 and the motor gets really hot, should i go up or down ???

on my bx i run 15/84 with LRP 6.5

it was a reedy krypton? 12 double, changed it to an orion 12 triple with 84/19 and it de soldered the motor wires it got that hot yesterday. i have now changed the motor to a checkpoint 9 double and im going to try a 15 pinion do you think thats about right, the car is free running no drag, but even after 3 minutes the motor gets so hot you can't touch it

have a look at cml site for yokomo setups u should find a set up there for craggys car or email em
