Engine=motor?
Have been looking att some pics of the new twentytwo, it is actually written engine on the bags for the mid motor conversion parts. Am i totally off here or what? I thought it was an electrical motor installed, not an combustionengine....

It is electric!
 The term 'Engine' doesn't automatically mean it's a combustion engine...

I don't use the term 'Electric Engines', I call them motors like 90% of the other people do, but some people/Companies do use this term.

Boiled down to the basics.
A brushed motor uses the brush to commutator contact to "turn on/off" a magnetic field at specific points of armature rotation. A brushless motor detects armature position electronically and "turns on/off" a magnetic field based upon armature position detection.

Oh come on!
Has this not gone on long enough now! Fair enough some of Pip's earlier threads were a little annoying but he did ask a perfectly sensible question on this thread, and now you are carrying on the childish rants on a thread that a new member started asking a question about TLR's terminology! Your making yourselves look silly! I appolagise to the guy that started this thread asking for info, this webiste is not usually like this, there are good guys on here with good advice....

You don't have to leave the thread, you asked a question relevent to the thread title. All I meant is maybe not a good idea to start arguing on this guys thread, it is setting a really negative atmosphere for new members joining oOple.

Hi guys!
Thanks for defending my thread against thoose silly retardos! I know that the TLR22 is an electric buggy, i was just curious why they call it engine on the plastic bags in the kit, and according to Smokes with the quote from wikipedia i am totally correct in my conclusion. So by the way, i am from Sweden, that was why i asked about the engine and motor mixup, the gramma is a bit difficult sometimes. Engine means motor in Swedish also, as for the germans. So the correct word would be on the plasticbags: "mid motor conversion" So losi is wrong and a little guy from Sweden is correct..sound weird but hey i can live with that! I also guess that this car can be a big seller, the hype is enourmous everywhere!
