Default What wheels will fit a vintage RC10?

Hi, does anyone know what rear wheels I should use if I want to put 'modern' Schumacher Cat tyres onto a Vintage RC10?

Or failing that is there a specific adaptor I should use to put modern pro-line/losi wheels onto a vintage RC10?

Finally, anyone know where I could get these items from - or is it a case of watching e-bay?

Thanks!

for 2.2's I use B2 or B3 wheels but you have to drill the centre out to fit the larger tapered origincal RC10 axle. I think this is how everyone used Yellows at the vintage meeting at york.

(Pic below has 2.2 step pins and ribs)

JC Racing do (or did) white or flouro-yellow 5-spoke dished fronts and rears which I use on mine. I've just tried to find a photo of mine with the white ones on but will have to settle for one of Bigbison's sister-car with the yellow's. Got these from Microtech (I think) a couple of years ago.

The JC Racing 5-spoke B3 wheels are excellent, and I run them on my RC10 no prob.

White Fronts: JCBF-W
White Rears: JCBR-W

And hey - the wheels are actually manufacturered here in the UK by a small company. Which I count as a bonus!

See if your favourite retailer can get them in - or give the manufacturer a call to find a retailer near you. I just ordered some recently from www.modelsinmotion.co.uk

As advised above, you will need to open up the inner side of the rear wheel axle hole a bit - but 1 minute with a body reamer will have that sorted out easily.

Cheers,
Ty

Cheers Pete, the shell isn't period to the car as it's an earlier shell on a nice worlds car but a mate who used to work at Associated got it for me. Was painted by the works team painter of the day who's name escapes me now. Needless to say when the car gets rolled out occasionally that shell doesn't get used.

Cool - didn't know that... Will keep that in mind for next time.

When I rang them up last week I spoke with J, who passed me over to C. (small company ) and he recommended the JCBF and JCBR wheels.

Cheers,
Ty

I also need these... but cannot find those items on any of those webpages...

Anyone got a link to a webshop with them in stock?

Cheers

Try calling or emailing the manufacturer to see if there's a distributor near you. I had to special order the wheels through models in motion by phone.

Lykke til!

the new thunder tiger buggy should be the same wheels as the b3 which are impossible to find, don't use the giant 1/4 stubs....definitely change to the smaller style.
