Personally for me it is 2wd. I only do 4wd for the point and the love of racing.

Persoanally find 2wd such a joy to drive.

The Ansmann X4-TE looks very nice. And if you change the price listed on Team C's website into £ it works out at £220!! Very cheap for a 4wd! The only thing is only 100 of the team edition 2wds came to the uk and JE Spares only had 1 so it looks like it would be hard to get hold of but if I had a word with WoOdy he might be ably to get me one. And it would be very exclusive if only 100 come to the UK.

My local track no longer has a 4wd buggie class (flippin lame!) only 2wd. For years I raced 2wd and then switched to 4wd some time in the mid-90's but about that time our local hobby store changed, track and all! So no more racing my xx4, only running it for fun but I still wanna race, so Whiskers I'm in the same boat as you and here is what I'm thinking.

Losi 22
Schumacher sv
B4.1

From what I've seen the 22 looks to be the bomb...so that's probably what it's gonna be for me. But I've always wanted and never owned a Schumacher so at the last minute that may change. =]

My only problem with losi is PARTS so think on young whiskers you want somthing that your local shop supports and has a good parts and hop up selection available

So it's a lazer!!!

Your right Josh but a laser fs kit can be bought of eBay cheap you don't need the fs2 because you can buy the bits and add to your fs at a later date.

If I was you u would buy the b4.1 good car cheap parts available locally.
Very cheap running costs just buy stagger ribs for the front which last ages so your only buying a pair of tyres instead of 2 pair every 3 meetings

I have also been very tempted by the B4.1 FT as they seem to be very reliable and Rob Mills at Bury seems to know lots about them setups wise. And the less tyres I have to buy the better!

Of course if you don't sell the Cat, you've still got a 4wd too. Only downside in that is the the wheel fitments are different, so they need different tyres.

I actually think Matts wrong about the Cat - indoors on the carpet its great. But when we go back outside I think you'll prefer a B4. Certainly, though I never really liked mine, it was nicer round Goshen than the Cat.

You'll be needing a different motor for a B4 though, the Losi you have now is a bit quick for a 2wd.
