Default Fitting a savox servo to associated b5m

Hi. Im trying to fit a savox servo to my b5m. It has an alloy steering fitted. The steering arm catches the case of the servo. I bought the car 2nd hand so havnt had a servo fitted in it previously by myself. Does anyone know if this is a known problem or a fix. Many thanks

Can you not use as small shim underneath where the ally horn bolts up to?
IE to stop it going so far back towards the body of the servo?

Its the arm coming from the steering mechanism thats catching the servo. Where the plastic link rod fits that goes ti the servo horn. Its like the servo is too far forward. But the servo is in a fixed position.

It shouldn't be a problem..! The servo arm has a blue spacer to push it forward so that the arm misses the servo. I would think that you have the wrong servo arm or a non standard linkage. Check what you have against the car manual...if you don't have one, and don't know anyone who does, you can find them on Team Associated website..

I have checked the manual. I dont know if it is the upgraded associated linkage or another make. It is the arm that comes from the linkage that is catching the servo like it is slightly too long. Its a second hand car so dont know if this has been an issue previously
