motor kv help

hi,
ive seen some 13.5 motors that have 3100kv
yet another 13.5 motor has 2760 kv
so which would be better and what difference would i see,
also why do motors have different kv when the turn rating is the same.

I think it depends how the manufacturer tests the motor but they all do it under non full load conditions,
What motors are you looking at people may help from experience, I like the G force motors but have had good service from SP V3 motors, although the G Force has more EBT and is easier to adjust
