Default Yokomo YZ10 & MX-4 shells where?

I recently found these two vintage cars, but I would like to change the shells since they are in very good condition and I have a lot o original decals. But, I can`t find shells... I have seen that some in ebay sells shells. Has anyone bougth them or know about how good or bad they are?

The reproduction bodies by mr lexan are absolutely first class—actually better than the originals. Contemporary Lexan, window masks and paint film, not to mention that in most instances, they are more consistent pulls than the originals ever were.

I have painted more than a few of his various reproductions and re-releases, and they are all stellar. I have painted a few Team Bluegroove, and they are also good, but a lesser quality with less defined trim and window lines.

You can't go wrong with a repro by mr lexan.

You could always just run it as a TC. I've had a Proton shell for over 2 years now all painted ready to go on my old yz10. Just got to rebuild the car as it hasn't moved a wheel in anger in over ten years. The other TC shell is a Ford Escort, but from Horrizon, if they still do them (235mm shell).

I've got a Jrx2 & a Mirage RC10 shell of his - both are as yet unpainted, but I can certainly vouch for the quality. Weighing up whether to get the YZ-10 too.

Mr Lexan (Jay) sells through eBay, RC10talk.com and TamiyaClub.com, as well. You should be able to get a hold of him through any of those outlets.

Looks good, Wes, you got any old wing mounts gathering dust at CML towers, I never got one when I bought mine, but everyone was switching over to TC's at the time.

CML Towers are Carbon Molecular shock Towers. Ultra thin and super strong carbon shock towers.

No seriously, CML is CML Distribution, and TC is just short for Touring Car
