Default Lipo Confusion

Just getting back into this, never used Lipo before. Buying my first car soon with everything I need. ( Probably going ORCA speedo or maybe Fusion ? )

I've read some clubs require you to have a 'cut off' on the speed control to stop the lipo cells going to low.

Is this a standard thing ESC have on them or is this something I have to buy as an extra ? I'm only going to be running it for races and maybe testing at the same track so technically I shouldn't be running it long enough to take them that low ?

Most modern ESC's will have a setting or a voltage cut-off, this is essential when running LiPo. If not, you can buy an external one.
