What wheels are these and where can I get rims to fit the mini 8ight? Also do you always run widder tyres/rims on the rear and is the offset correct to keep it within the 209mm max track width?

Does look very nice but strugling to get rims and tyres as I don't know what I'm looking for!

Any zero offset touring car wheels will fit for a 12mm hex.
Schumacher make some cheap sets of 4 dish wheels which I use.
White rally blocks are the most effective tyre on slippy floor and or carpet, but yellow pins work better on grippier more carpet tracks.

I prefer white rallyblocks right now, as fhey wear a little more evenly front to back.

hi jon as above any 0 off set touring car wheels with 12mm hex (which is bassically any touring car wheel)
tyres wise jon schumacher yellow mini pins think there 24mm-26mm but they fit for the rear and for the front its 20mm yellow schumacher mini pins
pins work best at formby mate
you can buy 20mm rims but i just cut down mine like we do for the 10th staggered ribs
insert wise i used jb foams from dms as they were £1.50 in the sale for 4 but i never noticed the difference with other inserts any way
you could use 24mm tyres all round but you ll have loads of front end and its horrible
could be worth getting a set 4 rally blocks yellow as they minght be better for you as there less harsh but your opinion is best hth

Happy to help matey. I use schumacher blue touring foams in my tyres. Yellow rallyblocks are an excelllent starter tyre, as they grip okay, and wear well. Whites grip a bit better on slippery sections.

Head on over to the micro forum. You will get some more micro specific advice there I should think: http://www.uk-microrc.co.uk/forum
