Default B4 screws stripping

Hi
Is there a trick to stop the four counter sunk screws at the bottom chassis stripping out of the top plate. This is the non carbon one.

This is the third time it has happened. The bumper screws come loose and the screws under the bumper come loose.

Also will the centro brass front brace fit the b4?

Thanks in advance

Dunno bout the screws stripping as mine as never done it. Perhaps your bit heavy handed with the allen driver. Mine has now been built into 2 different cars with no probs, first a B4 and now a Chunk. Spose you could get the alloy top plate upgrade

I had a tbone racing bumper on mine which i thought had been causing the problem but once removed it still happened

i even changed the top plate to a brand new one and the screws still turned.

i am considering a big alteration if it happens again on my car. ill probably drill thru and put a nut on the other end!

yes, use M3 counter sunk screws instead of the 4-40s.
