HELP NEEDED - losi xx4 lipo stick conversion
I am wanting to run lipo stick in a losi xx4. I have built a second car with a solid chassis and want to run stick packs. I have tried them in and they seen to fit quite snug and a bit tight to get in.
Has anyone got any advice and pics of theres. Could do with finding out what is best for holding in the lipo and if any triming of the chassis is needed? Also does the car need balancing with weight? Thanks! |

For retaining the battery, you can either use the standard strap, filed down, or get a custom made one.
The weight balance will depend on your speedo and radio gear weight and the weight of you lipo as they vary. But chances are it will be a bit out of balance, you can get some lead under the radio gear and/or under the servo, and then many people add some either side of the spine. If you do a search on here there are some neat installs. Ashley's is a good one. http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37780 Scroll down and you will see both types. Good luck. Chris

Thanks for the link!
Anyone got any idea of what size pinion and spur would be best for a 6.5t motor on an indoor track? |

I actually used a AE B4 Battery Brace and just dremeled/file it down to fit. Reason why is the battery brace was longer. Sorry don't have any photos and don't have the buggy no more.
