RB6 base set up for TORCH?
Just got off the phone/PayPal and this is on its way:
http://www.oople.com/forums/showthread.php?t=153951 Can someone who runs an RB6 at TORCH give me some idea of where to start with a basic setup? Obviously i'll have to start all over again with wheels and tyres etc but I think it's worth making the change, you can't beat Kyosho build quality. The DEX210 will be for sale soon if anyone is interested |

Alex,
I tend only to run my RB6 in the wet these days as the DB2 just has the edge in the dry. I will have my wet setup on the car on Sunday if you want to pop over and have a look. One thing you will need if dry on Sunday is Kyosho orange front springs. Regards, James.

I'm told there's a full spring set included with the car, if it's completely as described I think i've been very lucky to get it. Does anyone run small bores on the RB6? I have a couple of sets of those and lots of spring sets so I could also try them. See you Sunday |

Alex,
I've tried both small and large and to be totally honest I can't tell the difference. At times I think there is a small lap advantage in running small bores but it's very small. On the flip side the big bores calm the car down and make it safer. Regards, James.

Thanks to James Barker and Phil Williams who gave me loads of advice today about the RB6.
I'll be doing some surgery on this car and giving it the once over before it comes out to race but I feel like I know a bit more about it now than I did when it arrived on Saturday and am looking forward to getting started, there's nothing better to work on than a Kyosho |
