M05 Motor Choice
I have a 2nd hand unrun M05 that has come with a 20T brushed motor with and perflex ESC, I have a brushless setup (13.5) that is equvalent to a sport tuned tamiya ... I dont know understand the 20T etc ...
Am I better of changing to the brushless straight out the gate? (im not a seasoned driver) Any advice woould be welcomed ... Scott. |

Hello.
Both would work fine and people at the club use both of those set ups in the minis. Most use the brushed option though as they say its more controlable and doesnt spin the wheels as much, losing traction.
