Default Round 7

Well thats Round 7 over!! A close of our Regional Championships for 2011.
Its been the closest racing that we've seen in a number of years in the scottish racing scene. The feelings around the pits this year has had a bit of a buzz about it, and there has been a lot of new and old faces coming along to race and spectate. There has been 4 Championships up for grabs this year 2WD,4WD, junior and for the younger racer the Veterans 40+

The weather has been good to us all year, well apart from 1 round where we got a bit wet.

John made us tracks with interesting jumps that got us some BIG Air! When the cars came down to earth they had snow on them lol but good meetings tho John.

Darren up in sunny stonehaven NOT had some new jumps that they had bulit for this years championships and with the added rain made it a bit of a challenge also good meeting Darren.

The New kid on the block, NORA she got off to a bad start with the weather but got there in the end and got better over the meetings that were run there. The small band of merry men that worked on the track over the months, well done I no its not been easy, track was very challenging that made for some close racing.

Brain and his Dundee Team ran there round that NORA and like the rest for the rounds it was run well so thanks again Brian.

Well said James, has been a great season even if my performance was below par Lets hope for more of the same next year. I plan on making a commitment to run both classes, and I encourage others to do the same. Lets increase the numbers and show our support to the scottish 10th offroad scene.

Couldn't have put it any better myself. Think the season has been brill and I loved the close racing that I was involved in. Already looking forward to next season, as is Dale. Can I say how chuffed I was that my son was 10th overall in 2wd in his first season ever running off road, bodes well for the future. Thanks to all who helped make the series what it was, BRILL....
See you all soon,
Scotty....
