In door track marker.
Hi for over 10 years I have raced at Doncaster touring club in South Yorkshire UK. The hall we race in is a school sports hall.So we have to lay the track out then put it away at the end of the night. As track marker's we use industrial fire hose filled with sand.
The problem we have is, when we build the track and set out the hose's, we have to manhandle and drag the hose's about and sand escapes onto the track. This makes the grip none existent in the first heat. Just wondering if there is any suggestions, what if anything we can use to replace the sand. We have tried the plastic guttering but find this expensive as needs replacing every now and then, plus the cars move it about on the carpet. Like I say any suggestions welcome. |
