Now thats the complete opposite to my experience.... its always the tape that comes loose

Velcro much better for swapping stuff regularly but you can't achieve the an4l ocd levels of installs that are required by most of us rc enthusuiasts with a speedo thats on hooks and loops. Therefore double sided takes it by a short head i.m.o.

Cheers Dave, I'll see if I can get hold of some and give it a go when my stack of tape runs out.

Matt, you've got to get the good stuff and give everything a good clean with a de-greaser first. I guess, like most of the things in this hobby though , what suits one person doesn't suit another.....

Meh, I would love to say Velcro, as it does make working on the car far simpler, but after finding large rolls of the good automotive stuff that is probably stickier than a sticky thing on a warm day, but then just rolls off under your finger when your done.... DOUBLE SIDED is the only way to go......

As for shock absorbtion, after working on aircraft, the only thing I ever seen velcro'd would be cloth trims..... all electronics are securely fitted, so there :
