Default Reversing the rear arms on the 410

I have done this with my 210 on Ozite and on clay with my 408. I found it helps lock in the rear. If you do it on the 410 looks like you can't use the sway bar. Has anyone tried this on the 410?

Cheers

Over a hundred views and no replies? Doing this made my dex408 way better. I'll have to be to first to try it on the 410

Have just seen your post. Got a 410 just recently, drove it stock and it was all over the place and seemed short in comparison to a 22, so I did just that and you can use the sway bar with it. I just drilled new holes/ shaved a little bit off the inside of the arms for the mounts, shaved the arms on the inner hinge pin side (as they already are on one side) so they don´t rub against the wing mount brace and took some longer screws for the now rearwards mounted shocks and spaced them some to get them upright again.
Drove way better, much more stable, but still nimble, so go for it, as you already know it from your other cars.

Cool I'm racing in the am so I'll have it done for the next race in couple weeks. It's pretty much a mini 408 so I'm not surprized it helped you out!

Looking good Mr Kiwi! Did you notice any difference using the hub weights??

When I saw it on the 8th scales thought it could work on 10th

I didn't do a lot of back to back testing but I did find it helped out with minimizing the tail slide a bit, this was on carpet with slicks, Ill do a bit more testing on astro and hopefully more on dirt but we don't have one of those tracks locally.
