I did say similar effect ... not identical effect.

Either way, With the rotor, top shaft and diff / driveshafts / wheels all rotating in the same direction you do get very good control in the air and of weight transfer when braking.

Normal service resumed ... working away for days at a time with no net access is a real pain.

Please accept my appologies for the slower than acceptable replies!

Firstly thanks to everybody who has ordered Scorpions, the first batch is now sold out.

If you are interested in a car please let us know, we are hoping to have another batch ready to pre Christmas delivery but in order to get them out to Santa in time we need your order quite quickly.

A further batch is planned for January too.

Roger,

I think that better, well lit quality photos should really help sales. I'd like to see a fully equiped car, for example.

Agreed mate, the only small problem with that is I am totally incapable of using a camera ... I don't mean not very good I mean incapable!!!

There will be a build thread coming soon, hopefully with somebody of a much higher photographic standard than myself (my dog maybe) taking the pictures.

Any photo requests and I will make sure some are taken!

Thanks! I like how you use the little LA36 and 37 inserts to setup the rear toe-in.

What body do you use? Stock one or Phat-bodies style shell?

Last but not least what is the price?

The inserts seemed to be the best option to me hence why we used them, allows use of both narrow and wide hinge pin holders to suit everybody ... notice the hinge pin height possibilities and huge range of antisquat adjustment too?

The car is designed around the use of the standard shells, I run a Trident on mine, some others run a Sword which if cut to suit fits around teh rear end very well.

There is a bespoke body on the way and it is very pretty, designed by a man with an eye for the curves

The price is currently £145 plus shipping, just add an RB5 and a few little pieces (most of which I bet are already in your pit box) and your good to go.

Development isn't static either, seems like every other day I sit in front of the CAD station at the moment but there will be no changes which require any of the main components to be re-purchased, that side is all finalised now. All the parts compliment the car and help make it faster, none will be necessary for the build etc.

Oh dear!! - What do we have here then?!
LOL

Roger - you will be please to hear the car went together nicely - Just like Cheryl and Simon!!
I didn't even use the instructions as everything was obvious.
No issues at all in the build and look forward in testing over the festive period.
See yah at Ardent

Well I guess there is no better time to say WELCOME TO THE TEAM Mr Evdoka.

I am very pleased to have you on board Tony and look forward to working with you to keep pushing the development of the car forward.

Loverly tidy instalation and thank you for the build photos. Do you want to share those or shall I?

Looks like you are first to air with the completed production specification car with the Stinger (tower) on the tail I see too

Now guys, I know there are a few more out there close to being ready to run ... lets be having the pictures, I'm like an expectant father pacing the ward

You can sort out the pics Roger

ps - The car all up with Lipos and motor etc etc etc is 1510g with mini pins which i am sure are heavier than mini spike so right on the weight limit more or less, that allows one to put the weight where they want it - I like this a lot!!

It was designed to be light mate, balance front to rear isn't far off either

As you know I run mine without weight in a lot of the time ... but I do add a bit in when it gets slippery, be Rude not too

Ian, yes mate the Stingers are in. Did you want one? I've not got you on the list for some reason however I have kept one back for each kit that has gone out just in case!

I have spares of the towers alone (no spacer) too in case people wanted to carry them as spares.

Rob,

sure Tony will be along shortly to explain why he's not got big bores on the rear but they do fit without issue. My guess would be having suitable spring rates and/or the necessary 97038 longer shock eyelets.

I currently have the big bores on my car with the development tapered pistons in. I could tell you what the spec is but then I'd have to kill you (or charge you for a set LOL). Don't worry Rob, you'll be getting a mail when I have pistons ready
