Finished embarrasing my self ...
Now Ive finished embarrasing my self with my SCT its plainly evident that I need a buggy ...
Any advice would be great, any 2nd hand well priced examples considered as well if anybody is upgrading ... Good crack anyway, thanks.. Scott.

Hi mate, hope you enjoyed it!
As you may have noticed, a lot of drivers are using team c tc02c buggies. They are good handling and very strong, plus there is a plentiful amount of help, advice and spares available at the club. There is also a slightly cheaper version called the lupus, which is very similar in design. Best thing would be to come next week and have a look at the various models

As John said team c tc02c is the way to go a great car and as far as esc dualsky are excellent value for money and seem very reliable I have one and it ain't missed a beat they range from about £65 to £130 I think,and again dualsky motors again I run one and that has been faultless too they are about 55-60 £ I personally buy all my kit from pbm racing 01773 769323 and he stocks spares too for team c . I had a tc02c and mine was excellent the only reason I sold it was to gt the new team c tm2 otherwise I would still have it

You can't beat the Lupuz for performance and value for money.
Here's what I would suggest Team C TR02c Lupuz buggy £65 Bearing set £8 Speed Passion cirtix stock club race 13.5t combo £80 Ceramic diff balls £7 Ansmann alloy shocks £20 Job done for about £180 and you can use your existing stick packs What has been suggested, although excellent, will end up costing more than twice as much for no performance gain. Super glue is a necessity. I can post links to buy if you want

The tr02 are a good car but the time you have finished updating it you may as well buy the tc02c and also the tc02c handles better in my opinion everyone that has had one has gone better with it also dualsky do a esc for £65 and yes you have defo got to glue the rear tyres which will be Schumacher yellow mini pins and the front you want schumacher yellow low profile cut staggers with a few dobs of glue and the front tyres you have to cut the rims down by taking the inner section off but if your not sure just bring it to the club and one of us will do it for you if in doubt talk to andy at pbm he will tell you about tyres and inserts for the rear and front tyres oh you can get ceramic diff balls again ask andy about them too and the tc02c comes with abec3 bearings and alloy adjustable shocks as standard which are excellent

Ansmann mad monkey
I have a RTR brushless Ansmann mad monkey, which is nearly a lupuz.
It's £109 with every thing except batteries. And you can use you existing lipos if you have any. All the parts are interchangeable with the lupuz. So far I've bough a bearing kit for £11, and threaded adjustable shocks, (can't remember how much these were from hobbypartz or hobbyking I think, I followed a link on the modelsport forum) and adjustable turn buckles(again can't remember but between £10-£20, from modelsport) I've also had to buy new wishbone and hub but that's just because I'm a sh1t driver and keep hitting things.
