Lipo feeling Numb
Hi guys
My lipo used to run well for 4 races, however just recently it's started feeling really sluggish after two races. I assume after 2 years its startin to go off the boil. However when I charge it, it's only used 2000 ish of its 5800 capacity. Any idea if its just dying, or can I cycle it or anything to give it a bit of life. Oh additional info, it's always balanced charged although the last time it never actually balanced.. It just times out making micro little charges. Cheers

Sounds like there's a cell starting to go bad, Taking longer to balance is a good sign of this. Otherwise if your charger shows internal resistance measurements, this would confirm what cell it is.
There's no way to bring a lipo pack back up to a fresh state. 2Years use isn't that bad You can cut the pack open and make a new less cell battery, but it's not worth it, unless you have another pack that's in the same situ and make one battery out of the two packs. |

Cheers for that,
Its fine for two races (it would normally last 4) so maybe its time to have it as a spare

keep an eye on the charge voltage as some chargers will let the bad cell over charge.
