I love XC'ing, i 'had' a Kona Firemountain, but the mrs thought it was the perfect bike to leave in town and it got stolen.
Buying a new one soon.

Would be a giggle for sure.

Me and my 2005 'dale Prophet would be up for a blast if diaries permit.

Could also suggest chucking the SC10s in the boot for a blast as well??

I'd be up for a ride, I have an INtense M1. Astonhill is good, fairly central location, has dh and xc tracks for all and a 4x track for SC10's

I'd love to go riding with you all, and I'd love to see how my Banshee Rune handles in the UK, but I have a hard enough time finding a way to rides at a trail network 45 minutes away, I don't have a hope in hell of convincing mom to let me cruise or fly over to the UK to go for a bike ride. it would definitely be great fun, but 3000+ miles of flying or sailing is a tad bit too far for me

seems popular...

I spent sunday riding around Cannock Chase, it was awesome, polished off the rust from my MTB skills, only hit one tree and went over the bars once.

throw in your ideas for where we should ride then...

Well now you mention it Cannock Chase is an excellent venue. When I used to ride with some guys from Bike Magic it was our preferred haunt as its pretty much in the middle of the country - just a long a haul for the guy from Newcastle as the guy from Portsmouth. Its also not got any stupidly long killer climbs, so the guys on the heavier rigs didn't suffer too badly, but has enough decent twisty singletrack descents to make such a bike worthwhile.
