this little game is fantastic!

you can get the demo here

its a great side-scrolling physics based motocross game, you have to time your jumps and move your weight around to get the good times, its awesome!

I was quite actively into finding good 'racing' games based on good physics and a long time ago I saw this in development, I can't remember what reminded me but I searched for it again and its finished and playable

its soo satisfying when you get the jumps right.

a few tips

your bike will go faster when your leaning back and on the throttle pulling a small wheelie, the wheels do have rolling resistance.

if your very skilled, you can land on your back wheel off the jumps and on the throttle and get good drive out of the jump

i've tried most of that, but if you go too fast on that track you miss the "boost" zones, so it screws you're time.

Rich, post a vid of a decent run please, i need to see what i'm doing wrong!!

I'm running about 41 sec flat on climb that hill and can only really see small places to improve a few tenths. I could maybe see me being able to get a middling 39 at tops!

glad i'm not the only one in the low 40.s!
i think Rich must take a route other than the "standard one" so that he can hit the other speed boost and clear the huge canyon?

ive tried that, I scrub off too much speed to make the extra boost worth it...

any other times on other tracks? they should be super-close..

I take it everyone is using the little spacebar 'boost' thing? It fires from the bottom of the bike so when you are leaning forward it boosts you along...

Also front flips are your friend

I seem to take a different route each time lol, at the end of the lap I use the last boost and one mid jump which clears the big bombhole thing and lands between the first and second rollers at the start of the lap. The hardest bit is timing when you fire the boost as you land so the bike doesn't snap in half

That 33 was a complete fluke, I can do 34's quite often but any faster will be complete luck!
