oh dear god it has taken about 2 years to get to the point when i will pull the sticks and take it upside down but still i cringe and listen for the tell tale slap when the blades hit the boom and you know that your going to have to call up the hobby shop

well i leart to fly with a honey bee cp2 its a good starter kit and it will allow some mild 3d aswell getting some time in on the simulator is a good idea when its too windy to go flying

well all i can say is it wont be easy i honestly would start with a honeybee FP or if you really wat this you will need allot of sim time a big wallet and really a person who can fly it to help you learn

Just seen this, I started with the Blade400 its ok, I did get a friend who flys a lot to calm it down a bit for me before I started, a half decent shop should have someone behind the counter who can do this for you,But you will crash more than a few times when lerning, and the blade parts are so cheep, tail booms £4.80ish pr pair, worst part is the blades at £8.50 a pair
but once you get the hang of it , it is a cheep hobby as you don't ware much out, just grab the heli and go flying. I have the blade400 now and also bought a T-rex500 sweet but a bit more costly to put in,so I practice with the blade...then the 500 But the buzz is great, it's like driving an A final every time you lift of the ground. I learnt on my own,I put training gear on and spent hours on a tenis court, this way the heli can slide around a bit on the tamac, and you won't tip it over straight away as you get the hang of it ,as they are so so sensetive to input on the cyclic.

wife bought me a heli for christmas, one of the 6ch trex 450 clones.
i can now fly nose in as of yesterday i was crapping myself first time i flew nose in expecting to ditch it but wasnt too bad. i guess it makes it easier with racing cars as you already know the basics. i have set mine up for basic hovering and a low headpseed so im getting 14-15 mins out of a 2250 lipo. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cot17kQ4YHY |
