Default Track work, YOUR club needs you!

Anybody up for a track work day?
I am thinking about organising a track work day soon, it would need to be a week day so I can get a digger down there! I would like to get some drainage put in draining in to a sump near the 1/10th rostrum and sort out the abortion at the top of the main straight. If time allows it would be nice to level off the back straight as well.
I can organise a wacker, digger, disc cutter etc so we just need some man power!
It would be good to get this done before winter sets in, I was thinking about a Thursday maybe but can work around what ever day is best for you!
With the drainage installed the track will be more useable through winter.
So who can help?

Thursday is not the best day of the week for me.....but with enough notice I'd like a day away from the office grind, so it's a definite maybe.

I could only really help on a weekend or an evening which doesn't really help as it goes dark so quickly at the moment. Next saturday would be good for me as my lady is working.

Anybody available for a bit of track work this evening? Was going to make a start on some of the drainage work. Please let me know if you can make it!
I am still trying to get a day off work to get down there with a digger, I will let you know when I can but in the mean time if anybody wants to have a go at it just let me know when and what equipment you want and I will organise it for you.

We are all set for this Sunday, we will have some equipment there and we just need bodies to put on them. Hoping for a good turn out and hopefully some buggies and Sct's to test the track.

There is still loads to do at the track. A few of us were there tonight and we got a lot done but we need more people. If anybody can help in any way at all it would be appreciated, even just a tidy up would help! I will be there again tomorrow evening from about 7pm ish for a couple of hours to keep chipping away at it.
There will be loads of work sessions going on over the next week or so and the A1 racing club face book page will be updated regularly so like our page to be kept up to speed.

I will get some pictures Saturday. We are having another work session on Saturday afternoon from 1sh if anybody can make it. The main job will be covering the newly smoothed and altered bits, which is about 1/3rd of the track.
