Ansmann screw sets
hey, now ive got the b44 im giving my mad monkey a good overhaul, the plan is a few aluminium x2c parts and the x2c chassis, but the biggest problem is the screws. So does anyone know who makes a good screw set for the mad monkey and x2c range of cars? Thanks

I've found with the Ansmann kit screws, use a 5/64 imperial driver instead of a 2mm metric as it's a better fit - they don't tend to round off then or if they have rounded from using the 2mm metric, switch to the imperial & that should get them out.
when building or repairing the car i always pick up the 5/64 instead of the 2mm driver & since doing so have had very little problems. Also when building a new car, always use a decent steel screw to pre-tap the screw holes in the plastic chassis parts etc by screwing it in a couple of turns & the kit screws fly in.
