HINCKLEY CLUBS 2015 OUTDOOR OFFROAD SEASON

Hi all,

Last Saturday(11th April), we saw the FIRST Meeting of Hinckleys 2015 Outdoor OffRoad Club Championships!

We were fortunate that a Heavy Rain shower was in the early hours of the morning, so by the time everyone had Arrived, the Grass was virtually Dry & the Weather had become quite Sunny, allowing a great days Racing!

As usual, there was a decent Turnout of 2WD Buggies but it was also nice to see a Full Heats worth of Short Course Trucks, courtesy of the Gang from the Coventry Club Attending.

The Layout of the Track was Fast & Flowing, but pretty Challenging in places, making the Racing Close & Competitive allday! With the Table Top Ramps & Jumps now being covered with Astroturf for this Season, it gave Fantastic Grip & Minimal Tyre Wear.........a vast Improvement over last Season!

We ran the usual Format.i.e Open Practice before we Started, then 4 Rounds of Qualifying(with your Best 2 to Count), followed by Finals. This time round, we managed to get 2 Legs for each Final as well, giving everyone Exceptional value for money!

Hi,

Last Saturday(25th April), we saw ROUND 3 of Hinckleys 2015 Summer Club Championships!

The Weather ended up being noticeably better than Predicted, allowing another great days Racing!
The Track was very Fast & Flowing & usual Format was applied.i.e 4 Qualifying Rounds & 2 Legged Finals for all Drivers, making the Racing very Close & Competitive allday!





With it being a Bank Holiday this Weekend, the Weather Forecast looking pretty Promising & a 2WD Regional coming up, this Saturdays Club Meeting should be even better!!

The Hinckley Club has been pretty hectic over recent weeks, due to Holding 2WD & 4WD Mid-West Offroad Regional Events, but we're now back into the usual Routine of weekly Club Meetings, with ROUND 7 of Hinckleys Summer Series kicking off over this Bank Holiday Weekend - SATURDAY 23RD MAY.

The Forecast is currently showing Saturdays Weather to be the best day of the Weekend, so this should allow us all to have a Fantastic days Racing!

Hi everyone,

Last Saturday(23rd May), we saw ROUND 7 of Hinckleys 2015 Offroad Club Summer Series!

The Weather was great & there was also a decent Turnout of Drivers, Arriving nice & early to get a good days Racing!

Due to the 4WD Mid West Regional taking place on the the Weekend previous, we'd decided to leave the Track out & run the same Layout again, keeping everything nice & simple & allowing a Relaxed Practice Session, before the Meeting started.

Usual Format took place.i.e 4 Qualifying Rounds, followed by a Final for each, with 5minute Practice Sessions allowed between the Rounds, for anyone trying to make some final tweaks to their Setups!

The 2WD Buggy Class was extremely Close & Competitive allday, making some Fantastic Battles during the Finals!

The Next Club Meeting will be be on this Weekend - SATURDAY 30TH MAY

So far, the Weather Forecast is looking really good for this Saturday, we'll be Laying a completely New Track out & we also have another New Roll of Astroturf to use, so we can use it to lay over the very Bumpy/Worn sections of Grass!!

ROUND 12 of HINCKLEYS Summer OffRoad Club Championships this Weekend!


This Meeting will be on this SATURDAY - 27TH JUNE





The current Weather Forecast is looking pretty good at the moment, which should allow us all to have a Fantastic days Racing!

Hi all,

Last Saturday(27th June), we saw ROUND 12 of Hinckleys 2015 Offroad Club Championships!

We were fortunate to have some good Weather, creating another decent Turnout of Drivers Arriving nice & early, to help Setup the Track.

The Layout had a good Mix of fast flowing corners & Tight technical Chicanes, as well as the usual Straight & Corner Table Top Ramps. A Big Jump was situated right in the middle of the Track, which was a lot trickier than it looked, due to the Lefthander after it. A Double Jump was also Included this time, which if taken just right, could be cleared in one, allowing time to be made up!

With us currently in abit of a Heatwave, it also appears that this great Weather is here to stay for the Weekend too, looking like we can have another Fantastic days Racing this Saturday - 4TH JULY
