Default I've found a new class that I like! :)

I ran 12th for the first time at Chesterfield last night and I must say...awesome!
Technically its what I should have gone to when I stopped racing the F1's really, and now realise thats what I should have done.

Obviously, buggies are my main preference still, but I could well get into the little things very seriously.

Yes they are awesome little things! I have my heart in off road as it where I started racing years ago but 12th helps your off road racing, you need fairly razer sharp skills to race one at a good level.

Im running an L4 at Maritime, I cant recommend it enough, just get a second hand L4 and chuck some of your old brushed gear and old cells (if you have moved to lipo) and your there! Cheap new class to enter.

Oh yeah and stock up on a few T bars whilst your learning to drive a 12th!

I ran the Xray for the mag and running 10.5, awesome straight out of the box. Wasn't expecting to enjoy it soo much but i did. I made remarkably less mistakes than I thought I would.

i only ran one pack of cells all night and if there were more people there would have finished every run without a problem.
Team leader Mr cosgrove was running Mod with the Xray and I was only 1.1 secs slower on our fastest laps, which I though wasn't too bad for my first attempt at 12th.

get yourself entered for the SSO III @ Chesterfield. There like the Nationals only there only for a day. I travel and do the club night on Sat's and race the Sunday. Makes the trip worthwhile then.

yeah, I booked in yesterday.

Trevor said that there was a few spaces left, so I booked my spot.

.....does that mean I'm starting to take it seriously?

Tel...

This one class I've not had a go at... I've got a Corally SP12M, but never had the time to fit in racing it...

Although I might just try harder... What tyres are the must have, and which traction compound??

I also asume that the stock (19T) class is stupid fast?? Hmm....... Getting quite tempted now....
