What do racers do with their old tyres
I have tried taken them to the rubbish tip, no recycling there Tried at the local tyre centre, no joy there either, surely we must be able to recycle them? |

Can we post them back to Schumacher for them to be recycled...
![]() This is the one part of toy car racing i hate the most is the waste we generate from old tyres. Wouldn't be so bad is they lasted longer.

I thought about this several months ago. It would be great if there was some sort of network for collecting the tyres at local clubs and events that ultimately benefited the sport.
Unfortunately I would think that you’d need several tons of tyres to receive any sort payment for them and most places would be looking to receive/ recycle them for free. That does save them from going to landfill but it would have been nice to be able to put any income back into supporting the clubs or sponsoring new ones. |

Schumacher should offer this service surely they can just reuse the rubber to make new tyres?
