Default proline vortex

Hi All,

Thinking about getting a new B44 body.

Have any of you got the proline vortex?

I wanted to know if an LRP TC spec (with fan) will fit under the body?

Thanks.

I know a guy (Andy) at our club who runs a Vortex body on his B44 and he also runs an LRP Sphere TC. Just not sure how he has laid out his electronics.
He is a memeber on here too try sending him a PM, his user name is enfieldbanana. HTH

Default Vortex Shell and LRP Sphere TC Speedo

Thats me!!!

Fits not a problem with the layout that I'm using which is..... speedo behind the servo and then receiver in between the speedo and battery post. So all electrics are on the left side of the car and just the motor on the right. Its a tight squeeze and you have to do a careful and neat job with your wiring. And the capacitor for the speedo is held on the top of the servo with a blop of hot melt glue gun glue.

Car seems very balanced with this layout!!!!

Did any of that make sense????

Would add a photo but I haven't got a clue about adding picture on the forum.

A

PS: That reminds me that I need to get the shell sprayed so I can run it.

Great. I think my layout should be OK as well then. Just wanted to make sure there was enough clearance for the ESC fan.

Thanks for the help - yes it makes perfect sense!!
