Default Losi folks at EPR

Hi guys,

Am gradually getting my act together so I can come and join the fun at EPR.. one of the last things to buy being the buggy itself! After much debating and research, I have settled on the deliberately less obvious choice of the XXX-CR. I was waiting to see if the HB D2 was going to arrive, but it isn't yet, and the new RB5 SP is a couple of months off at least. As you can see I've deliberately avoided the obvious choice(s) for several reasons that I won't go into now...

As EPR is my closest off road track, I need to make sure to get the right spring, shock oil and gears (to go with my Orion 7.5)...

Can any losi driving EPR regulars help me out?

Cheers!

So all you changed between indoors at newbury and outdoors at EPR was the rear springs? Really?

Well yeah, the grip levels arn't much different and both have big jumps. Once you have a good base setup you don't tend to change much except oil, springs and sometimes pistons and links.
I only change a lot if it's very low grip.

O yeah, thats a given though, no? I ran yellow schumi spikes in the slightly damp/dryish weather, which were faster than greens.

another question for EPR 2wd folks - I have an option of a load of second hand wheels and tyres - just wondering if people use narrow or wide fronts?

cheers
