I am after set-ups for my Bmax4. My car is the basic kit with the plastic shocks. I do have the following hop ups which I can use. Hard springs for front, and a sway bar set. I am using a speed passion v2 6.5 race on a orion speedo running vampire 40C 4400 lipos.
I race mostly at Southport & Bury. A good basic indoors set up, oil, springs, toe in/out, gear ratio, wing rip etc, A good basic astro setup also. Dry and a wet set up And a good basic grass setup. Dry and wet set up. Also advice on adjusting for jumps and how to drive them. And should I use Associated diff balls. Thanks LEE-HO |

Hi,
I have bought ghost rc diff balls after half a season of racing because they did seem to where quite quick. I also use the rear 1.2mm roll bar. Indoors I use black front springs, 35wt oil and pink springs on rear with 30wt oil. I too would like some help with an outdoor astro set up. |

These from Tom Yardy are a very good starting point.

As mike says the tom yardy setup is what you need, Joe ran the bmax last year on this setup (although he reckons tom used joes setup
![]() tom also uses a roll bar a lot, joe doesn't like it despite tom telling him to use it!!

I am fitting rc10B4 diff balls, to start with because in the RC10 they have been 100%. But if I have any problems I will try some of the one's listed above.
And it looks like I need different springs fitted to match the above set-ups, any idea which associated springs are nearest to the ones listed above, or a shop in the UK with the Yokomo springs in stock. Or if I would have to do any adjustments to my shocks to fit the losi springs. Thanks so far for all your help I am running it, this weekend so I will give more feed back then. |

If i was running AE shocks i would run Blue front and silver rear to start with, possibly with No2 piston in the front and No1 piston in the rear.
I got my Yok spring sets from DMS. |
