Default Sunday 30th May

Hi all

There is racing this sunday, starting 10am , hope this weather holds.

I will be away at Ware, but chris, greg,Matt & Oliver and hopfully manta man will be there for sure. I think the is another mid east regional going thus I think simon and carl may be missing. But the club meeting will go ahead as we have decided to keep running on the last sunday of every month no matter what other meetings are running.

on another note we seem to have lost contact with our resident badger and his side kick (I cant spell hyi...) so if your out there LET US KNOW

Dave

I went over to Eastrax the other wednesday night and the track changes have made it much more friendly on the cars, worth the trip Dave and anyone else for that matter when you get time.

I know what you mean about the Regional Simon, although you have to give them some credit for getting something off the ground this year. Hopefully it will draw interest for 2011.

I know that they are looking for a venue for round 2, and I gather their timing equipment is very portable, so I reckon NBC should offer to host it. Would definitly give you a true view on who is prepared to travel.

I'm not knockin' what Paul has done as it's quite a task and to get this far is amazing, just a little too late, if only the interest was there at the AGM the 5 of us turned up at.

Thanks simon
I did mention this in febuary but i do get busy with work from time to time which is the same reason i could not make the regional AGM.
I will also be trying to put together a winter series indoors or outside on astro for the region and to give all that missed out on the summer series at chance to get there teeth back in to it with out waiting till next summer ( let me know what if any clubs your end might be intrested)
If you could post up on the regional section any replies please
Paul.

Yup, I'll be at NBC this Sunday (now I've got some bits for my gearbox!) from 10.

See you all Sunday and for those that are travelling, have a good one.

Going by the fact that the Regional series is being run by different people that ran the SEN series last year I can't think that it will hurt to host a round this year. After all if some negotiating is done I am sure you'll make some pennies out of it too which can only be a good thing.

Good point that Jonathan, MoreRc and the Regional meets have nothing to do with who was doing the running of the SEN series, or LBC, don't think it was only NBC members that were let down last year.

So the only bitter taste that might be left, is if some of us are too fast for some of you

Thumbs up :)

yes maybe but sometimes speed isn't everything, like .............errrrrrrr.......nope I got nothing!
have a good day boys, hows the 8th goin dave?
Did u brake ure new toy cris?,
I like the idea of hostin a round, would definitely b there as long as it didn't clash wiv M/E regionals, would have 2 b in open class (so none of u lawford boys have 2 worry about points when I beat U...)
Oh n yes dave me n simon broke our buggys at eastrax sunday , front arms n towers. Major desin flaw in the track piping rock hard n nailed 2 d ground every foot ish with spikes, hard as concrete n dont move an inch, built like this 2 prevent vandalism. great 4 bikes not goodd 4 my poor little buggy..

Hear that noise Carl? that loud repetitive ringing noise? that's the alarm clock telling you to wake up and stop dreaming

And less of the "Lawford boys", it's Manningtree now Think of it as a new club, just on the same bit of land.

Anyway, enough forum fun, have fun at your meet on the 30th lads

haha, away for a few days with the rallyx, and a suffolk boy has been on here with the fighting talk. ..John, ur to fast for me! infact most of the time your car is way to fast for you to.

sounds like you chaps had a costly time at eastrax then. as for my weekend .....loved it, ears still ringing and I prob spent more on tyres that you chaps did on parts.

Chris ..I will ring tmro, see how you got on sunday, heard it rained, said it would be wet for gregs new car
