speed passion esc failure
my speed passion GT failled this weekend after landing a jump(perfectly I might add). It still had power since the fan was still on, but it wasn't giving any power to the reciever or motor. I had installed a speed passion super capacitor and it puffed up also. The cap was installed 8 weeks ago. No smoke or overheating, this happen on my first practice lap.
Has this happened to anyone else?

we had a LPF just die going round a corner. it just cut and the car went sailing off the track. replaced under warranty. They didn't say what went though or I don't remember.
another made a horrible scream when plugging it in. with deans so it wasn't backwards and refused to work. schumacher said something about the phase blowing and it was the 1st one they'd seen that happen to. replaced under warranty. the car would run without the sensor connected, but needed a push to get going with the sensor on. like sticky brushes. Both LPF's. |

I had a similar thing happen to my GT LPF. I landed from a small jump, perfectly, and it just died. Also replaced under warranty, but it took a long time. I think they sent me a new one after chasing it up after 4 months!
