Default Slop in the front hubs?

I've noticed that my car has a little upwards/downwards slop in the front hubs. I've check that I fitted the correct bushings and the correct spacer on the bottom inside of each hub. On closer inspection it appears that the slop is due to the metal bushing being slightly too long, allowing the hub to move.

Does anyone else have this problem? I haven't yet run the car.

Is it an R kit? If it is the plastic washers may get squashed a bit if you over tighten the screws. Either get the ali washers, add some shims, or don't worry about it

I have a bit too, but nothing I'm worrying about. Non-R version.

Yeah its the R kit. The washers I replaced were a little squashed. I might try the metal washers but now I've replaced them there isn't as much slop. Thanks for the help.

Mine is the R version too, I had about 0.5mm of vertical play. To solve it take an orange washer and put it under the silver bush.

It may feel tight at first but should free up after a couple of runs, but it shouldn't affect a decent servo.

Do this and it will be nice and totally slop free.

Exactly my problem, I'll give it a go then. Thanks.
