I just bought one too and I am having probs with it. It came with oil in, I made sure i checked when it wasn't playing.
Keeps starting, running for about 1min then cutting out and not starting at all.
But it seems to have a phobia of race meetings. I tried it the first time I got it at a race meeting and it kept cutting out. got it home checked the oil, fired up first time and ran for about an hour. got to my second meeting and it fired up first time, then as I walked towards it with the extension it cut out and wouldn't start.

I got home cleaned the plug up and it fired up....then cut out after 1min, and won't start now.

Come back my trusty 12v!

Once you have started it are you switching it onto run from start. If so this is why it will be cutting out as it is being over fueled

yep, once it warmed up i was switching to 'run' from 'start' just as it said in the instructions. I'm wondering if the choke isn't switching properly.

You should be able to run a fair whack, a few power supplies, with 2 chargers on and the odd iron or two. Petrol consumption will go up though the more you put on it

I know certain questions have been asked before,

Just wondering if the Kipor Generator listed below will be fine to power the following:

4 or 5 racers using :

5 x 20 amp power supplies
5 x chargers Protrak / Much More etc
5 x smart tray

Also because its a sinewave Generator I guess it does not need any extra protection against power spikes ?

KIPOR KGE 1000TI
PURE SIGNWAVE PETROL GENNIE
THIS HAS A MAXIMUM POWER OUTPUT OF 1.05KVA AT 3.9AMPS
230 VOLT
5 HOUR RUNNING TIME ON A TANK OF FUEL
2.6 LTR TANK
FOUR STROKE PETROL ENGINE
A VERY LOW NOISE LEVEL OF ONLY 54~59dB
14.0 KG IN WEIGHT
