I just ordered a 4cell 5000mah pack off of vapextech for 20pound.

Their on ebay and have their own site.

possible daft question but can stick packs be taken apart and soldered side by side?
need some more for the cobra

yes you can

Some stick packs may have the cells glued together inside the outer wrap. You will possibly damage the cells shrink wrap but you can then re heat shrink them with single cell wrap.

darren from dpmr done just that last night for my mate who bought a sports pack from him and then his car was silly fast

Chequered flag, as Stox said we do cells www.dpmodelracing.com

Fast Eddie, we do a 6cell stick pack which will fit the Cobra no worries. If you want tubes on it in a side by side layout then we can do that too (using the stick pack cells - with a small charge for bars).

Mcjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj when you gonna order some then???

I have the cells and the soldering gear, where would I get the bars from?

speaking to darren last night said awaiting new stock hopefully monday so will be next week.

Fast Eddie, most good model shops should sell bars. For the Cobra with the standard batt mounts I would think you would want the completely flat ones rather than shaped though.
