They are fine on the front of a 4wd, tried them the other week. Noticably more mid corner that a standard stagger, so much so I had a bit too much steering and reverted back to std staggers which are much more pushable.

For someone who has never used stagger Tyres before.......
For 2wd: Under what conditions would a stagger tyre be used over a mini spike tyre? And Under what conditions would a cut stagger tyre be used over a standard stagger tyre? Cheers Ryan

I cut the inner and outer ridge +-1mm lower, because the tire otherwise doesn't touch the rim well. I also use foams inside and glue them on a wide wheel, just like most people do with slim mini spikes. Didn't try them on narrow wheels yet.
Compared to selfmade dremeld staggers, I find that the new cut staggers give more high speed, but slower low speed steering. Maybe need to try them narrow with softer foams? |

Bj4 for the time being with a few subtle changes to stock (Losi shocks, rear shocks on back of wishbones).
Personally as in my trying they they don't give any more turn in but give a lot more in the middle and to some degree exit of the corner. They are essentially a slim mini in carcass and sidewall to it's usual 2wd foams. My car at Stotfold was ace with these on, really like them (and they hardly wore which I also like )
