I'm up to the diff on the 22, I think the M2.5 has stripped. It wasn't even tight and it slipped and now i can't get it tight!
I'll have to get another nut. Its the only nut size i don't have! Has anyone else had any issues? |

Not sure if this helps, but the instructions say it is an M2 nut.

I thought I'd stripped mine but it was just spinning in the plastic holder. I glued the nut into the holder and it seems okay, I'll run it tomorrow.

Do yourself a real favour and get an associated diff nut and matching screw and you'll never have trouble again with it.
Get ceramic diff and thrust balls in there as well while you're at it. The kit ones are made of cheese. |

Just changed my bag of spanners for a set of Answer RC ceramic balls and a Tamiya nut (off an m-chassis of all cars!!), still got the kit thrust bearings but sounds and feels so much smoother.

I suppose it must be a vicious circle: diff loosens, starts to slip, balls wear, balls become less spherical so don't roll, diff slips some more .....
