the ftx blaze is a great car, i started out on one then went to the wider wheelbased lrp shark, (same car longer arms and driveshafts). (i would consider the lrp shark as an option too, (factory team one), has ball diffs etc

if your going to race on carpet then put some superglue on the outside edge (not surface that touches ground) of your front tyres, (let dry, lol) this will stop grip roll.

the batteries you can get for the ftx blaze (which will more than likely be the short chassis) can be no longer than 91mm without having to modify the chassis for them to fit....

you could buy these but allow 4 weeks for them to arrive...

the above ones will fit no problems, and 2 for £13 is a bargain..

or you could buy the more powerfull ones below: 2 for £18

but make sure when paying for the 1800mah ones you define in your paypal payment that you want the 91mm length ones as stated in auction as i was sent longer ones for the long wheel base, (did get partial refund though), which i was happy with as i have saved the longer batteries for my lwb shark.....have contacted him and he said state 91mm when paying and he will make sure thats what is sent out....i have just ordered 2 more....
