One round of controlled practice run.
This has to be as the rules state there must be a round of controlled practice.

Jorn fastest over two laps from Lee, and yes Dave he is running the TRF44.1
Nei, Hupo, Bradders and Ellis were all quick too.
Ellis is now on the Kyosho as for him on this track it is faster.

Tomorrow is scheduled to be a quick round of practice (2mins per heat) then four rounds of quali and the finals.
Not too different to a UK national then

All weather dependant...

Dropped a round of quali, shame but good luck to them!

More overnight rain has again affected the schedule

There will now be just 3 qualifying rounds, and the finals. Best 2 qualifying scores to count. Jorn fastest in R1 from Lee.

Will be posting as much as I can to www.EFRA.ws but due to the compacted timetable my reports may be fairly short today. Also follow me on twitter @RCRacingOli - if there's anything you really want me to photograph / find out about, send me a message on there and I will do my best!

Fingers crossed for no more rain and we will have a brilliant, but high pressure, European Championship in one day!

In the penultimate heat Jorn makes the first 12 lapper, then crashes on the split lap.
In the final heat Neil is late to the line and has to start last.
The traffic/reff was appaling and not very helpful at all. Not just my opinion as an AE driver but all the people I was in the stands with, and they weren'tll Brits either.
Once through the traffic Neil was avoiding another incident and a marshal stepped out in front of him snapping a ball joint.
At the end of the day he shouldn#'t have been late to the line but there should have been better ettiquette from the others invloved.

Upshot is Lee went faster then Jorn so takes TQ
Neil I think will be 6th or 7th but will probably struggle from there.
Rest of the A not certain yet as the timing onlylists times on FTD at the moment.
Grant has a shot but no other Brits.
Has really put the pressure on doing 2 from 3 rounds

Good skills Lee, especially with a car he's not used much this summer!

Unofficially, we have the same A Final line up as Jon If it's wrong, we'll have to re-film our clip!

Nothing will be official until this round is completed in about 5 minutes time. Due to issues with the scoring system not calling the correct start order, they have switched it to look at Fastest times for the moment - but finals will be sorted as per usual rules, best 2 scores from 3 rounds.

Currently still dry and sunny here..........

I did get it wrong... danny had 11 not 10 in r2, so Grant is officially 10th.

Big well done to Lee... Tamiya getting it DONE. Wing men Vicky and Marc in the show... TRF 1,2,3 me thinks.

Poulter in the B desires a pat on the back
