Default TD DEX408

Anyone know any more of when the Team Durango 1/8th electric buggy DEX408 will actually be out. I see that the prototypes have been raced in the US again.

Ryan Lutz was running it in the states at the weekend, link to his site below

I like the thought of trying 1/8th buggies, but I'm not really keen on Nitro. So electric looks good to me. The DEX408 seems to use two normal stick batteries that can be used for 1/10th if needed, and also should be cheaper) whilst some of the others need specialist ones.
I really like TD stuff as well, seems to be well engineered and the back up is superb.

Sounds like we will have to wait some longer, just hope that TD has dropped the project.

Both the Serpent (Brand new high quality buggy) http://www.serpent.com/product/600004 and the Caster EX run this configuration (Good value buggy) http://www.casterracing.com/car/main...hp?cid=4&iid=7 . I also think there is an ansman x series that runs this configuration.

Cheers for the link interesting perhaps the dex408 is not dead.

TD have responded by saying that if the trials that happening now in the US go well then the kit showed should be released later this year. Here's hoping eh!
I suppose that they have been having a busy year.

I cannot really start this until next season due to work, so let's hope TD can release by next spring then.
