I think MB models at Leeds still have this in stock, I believe that its called rccarshop when looking for the website, but they dont tend to show that much on the site so just get the number on there and give them a call up, He's a great guy and will sort you out if he has it.

I'll not promise what condition it's in, but I have/had a box full from when I changed to faskolor and now createx.
If I can find it, and it's useable, you're welcome to it!

Ok I will keep MB models in mind, the colours i'm after are Indy Silver, Metallic Blue, and Metallic Red, and a jar or two of thinners.

You can buy small quantities of standard cellulose thinners, that's fine to thin Pactra with. Or if you work or know anyone who works near a body shop ask them for a small amount, jam jar full or whatever. It's what they use to clean their guns and a £25lt barrel is less than a £1 per litre so I'm sure they'll let you have some !

I've got cellulose thinners at work does it not attack the lexan? I'll give it a try thanks.

I use pactra occasionally & finding shops who stock it are getting fewer & fewer. Last lot I got through was from Hobbystores & they carry the full range of solvent & acrylics.

As for cellulose just use it for cleaning up the airbrush followed by a lil flush through with pactra thinner, the cellulose stuff will attack lexan. For thinning pactra my 1st choice is the pactra thinners but have used RCS thinners through DMS in the past when I could not source the pactra gear

Yeah if you wipe it over the body shell it will attack it but I had no problem thinning the paint and applying it through my airbrush. That said both you and Mike have pointed this out so maybe best to stay clear. As I said though I didn't have any problems with it. Test some on some scrap maybe and see how it comes out ?
